A jury in Dallas County issued a verdict Wednesday in a highly contentious case brought by Brinson Benefits, Inc. against Holmes Murphy & Associates, alleging a conspiracy to steal trade secret and customer information for the purpose of interfering with business contracts with health benefit clients. Arbitration Panel Rejects Claims Brought by Fidelity Brokerage Services Against Former Financial Advisor

An arbitration panel issued an order in favor of a former financial advisor sued by Fidelity. Fidelity alleged that the advisor solicited the clients he served while employed by Fidelity to terminate their relationship with Fidelity in violation of restrictive non compete and non solicitation agreements, as well as unlawfully using trade secret information.
